Peter Neumann was born in Berlin, Germany. He studied at the Technical Fachhochschule in Berlin and did the Bachelor of communications engineering (Dipl.-Ing. FH). He started his career at Siemens as design engineer for software and hardware development for protocol analyzer. Before he joined MergeOptics as Manager Procurement, Peter Neumann worked several years for Infineon's Fiber Optics Product Devision. There he gained a variety of experience being responsible for Product Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Program Management and Procurement for key components before he joined MergeOptics.
