| KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: |
| |
- Prepare monthly German GAAP accounting period close plus IFRS monthly closing
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget/forecast
- Drive, coordinate and manage company financial planning and annual budgeting
- Prepare/manage preparation of financial forecasts
- Direct and manage preparation of annual audit
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements
- Participate in preparation of financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions
- Project controlling (WIP)
- Establish control processes and KPI’s (cost allocation sheet, cost center /unit accounting)
- Establish, document and maintain accounting standards, policies and procedures
- Middle-term responsibility for IFRS closing including annex
- Development of operative reporting processes based on the Navision System
- Participate in preparation of monthly Board Presentation, investor presentations and ad hoc reports
- Establish standard reports in the Navision System in co-operation with Navision Consultant

| SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: |
| |
- Demonstrated experience in finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principals including Generally Accepted Accounting Principals and IFRS
- Working knowledge of automated finance and accounting systems including experience with Navision and facility with MS-Office
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
- Demonstrated experience in short term and rolling forecasting, annual budgeting and multi-year business planning and product line profitability analysis
- Requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills in German, as well as, English (fluency)
- Ability to produce materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule
- Education: Business degree in accounting
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 4 - 5 years experience including senior level accounting position plus audit experience with a Big 4 accounting firm
- Hands-on and pragmatic working method
- First experience with an SME start-up company (small manufacturing environment) or a Private-Equity company are advantageous
- Participation in M&A transactions including due diligence
- Experience in IPO processes, a plus
- Experience in manufacturing environment
