| KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: |

| Lead firmware design for microcontroller used in optical transceiver for monitoring and real-time
management data I/O purposes
Develop test engineering software to support engineering testing capabilities
|
| |
|
| SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: |
| |
|
- Experience and knowledge of microcontrollers and DSP processors
- Experience and knowledge of optical transceiver/transponder communication protocols and programming implementation is desired
- Experience in transceiver firmware and hardware development
- Proficient at software design and implementation for embedded systems
- Experienced with the I2C, SPI, MDIO and GPIB protocols
- Experienced with Delphi, Visual Basic, Labview
- Proficient in C/C++
- Experience with Unix/Linux mainframe software and its administration is a plus
- Both experienced candidates and beginners are encouraged to apply
- B.S. M.S. or Diploma in electrical engineering, Physics or Computer Science required
