MergeOptics’ 40Gbit/s QSFP optical transceiver is a highly integrated 4-channel optical module that provides increased port density and total system cost savings. The
QSFP full-duplex optical modules offer 4 independent transmit and receive channels, each capable
of 10Gbit/s operation for an aggregate bandwidth of 40Gbit/s over 300m of OM3 fiber. Compliant
with the mechanical specifications of the current QSFP MSA, each channel of the optical interface
is compliant with 10GBASE-SR/SW per IEEE 802.3ae.
